• 1953 John Major Jr. joined the company working all areas of pre-press and production.
  
• 1955 Richard Major joined the company.
  
• 1958 Typecraft moved its plant to Oakland and saw its largest expansion to date by adding:
  -22" ATF Offset Sheet Press
  -Process Camera
  -Additional Bindery Equipment
  
• 1962 Edward Major began working for Typecraft.
  
• 1968 The plant doubled in size.
